Excellent guitarist, gifted musician
The southern rock group, Anderson East, was outstanding, and an excellent opening act. Lucy Silver was pleasant to listen to just after we arrived, though she only performed for 30-35 min. Truly enjoyed the concert, first time I'd seen The Haunt and really the firstime listening to his music. The guy is talented, no question. The sound system was remarkably good, given where we were seated (the lawn). When the rest of the crowd lip-singed to the music, I was content to watch and listen. Most people on the lawn were lay-back and we did not encounter any issues with other people walkin' by or the crowd around us. I watched the grammy's earlier in the year, and the Country Western Awards as well. Having an exit route on one of the backroads behind the amphitheater is a great idea and the management is commended. I had not attended a concert at Shorline for the past few years and overall, the traffic, both arriving and departing, the entrance line, the beer kiosks (though expensive), the bathrooms did not cause too much inconvenience. In fact, what I thought would take at least an hour to depart, really only took half that time. Not having to pay for parking (though it was a hike in and out) was an added bonus.
